Tradesmen! What’s Your Business Card Saying?

By Dean Taylor - 18th February 2010

Business cards!  We hand them out to anyone that shows an interest in our work & business but do they really provide the right image about us.  Look at it this way, when we are approached by our current clients neighbours we display all the right signs of professionalism.  Face to face we can talk the talk, but 4 months down the line when this neighbour rummages through their draw full of business cards, looking to find yours does it remind them of the professionalism you showed when in conversation.

A business card should be seen as an advertisement about you & your business and not just a means of distributing contact details (although that’s its objective) and if its not up to scratch it could be doing you an injustice and possibly lose you work.

Here is a great article on how to make the most of your business cards and will help you if you decide to do it yourself!
