Service & Trust will Triumph Over Price

I just had a brief chat with a friend of my wife’s to see how her loft conversion project was going.  She informed me that it was now complete and was done so within 6 weeks (full works).  Being curious & a tad rude I asked about the cost to which she happily explained that she obtained 3 separate quotes.  When it came to awarding the job to one of these 3 companies she decided to go with company that presented her with the highest price.  She explained that she felt more at ease when dealing with this companies representative and there was not a single request that they did not respond to.  She said that the extra £8000 was a small price to pay for the peace of mind that they provided and that now the job is complete she still feels she made the right descision.

There is no proof to state that the other 2 companies where out to sting her or that they would not have equally provided a top quality loft conversion without any problems but the service and attention provided by the winning candidate was the key to winning the job.  Service & trust is now a currency when people choose tradesmen so can you really afford to provide any less than perfect when it comes to this.  It costs nothing but time to implement but the rewards can be huge.

I’m now looking into making this experience better for each & every one of my potential customers, and hopefully it won’t be to long until I see the benefit.
