If You’re a Tradesman, Get a Public Rating!

By Dean Taylor - 4th October 2009

Do your custmers ever make positive comments about you?  If they do, why not make these comments public?

There are more and more websites appearing online which allow homeowners to talk about their experiences with tradesmen, whilst providing other homeowners with a tool to help them make the right decision when sourcing a trades person.

People are genuinely cautious when looking for someone to fulfill their home improvement requirements, and this is obviously reflected in the amount of  ‘rate the trade’ type sites now available, and the amount of work being secured by tradesmen using them proves that homeowners trust them.

These sites are a huge advantage to you and you could potentially fill a nice chunk of your diary if you use these correctly.   Encourage the customers who make these positive comments about you to make them public, which shouldn’t take much arm twisting, as people like to share good experiences.  By doing this you are building a portfolio which is, not only available for any one using the site to find, but also provides you with somewhere to point new customers, you have attracted via other marketing efforts, to see real opinions of you.

To get yourself started quickly and easily visit Problem Solved .  Here you are offered two types of membership, free membership and full membership, both provide you with a website where you can write about yourself and receive and display reviews from your customers.  The free membership listing is limited to one trade and one trading area in the uk. With the full membership you a lot more prominent and you can be listed in as many trades as you please and as many trading areas in the uk as you please.

To view the different memberships for yourself and look at pricing visit the Problem Solved tradesmen area.
