Managing material prices just got easier

Introducing smarter saving, syncing and updates for your pricing.

We’ve made some big improvements to how you save and manage materials in YourTradebase — so pricing work is faster, easier, and more consistent than ever.

Here’s what’s new:

Materials now auto-save

Add a new material when pricing a quote or invoice, and we’ll save it automatically so it’s ready to re-use next time.

Price updates sync across your price lists

Change the price of a saved material and we’ll update that price in any price lists where it’s used — keeping everything up to date for you, automatically.

Update materials as you go

Need to tweak a material’s price while costing a job? Now you can choose to overwrite the saved price, or add a new material to your list — all while you’re costing work.

See where materials are used

Head to Settings > Materials and you’ll now see how many pricing templates each material appears in — so you know what’s being used and where.

Less faff, more consistency — and a lot less time spent double-checking prices.
